Question:

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic old body style Regular cab pick up truck and I installed the westin step bars for it. My plastic pads have worn out and I wanted to find out if these would fit the bars that I have.

There are E-Series, Platinum, and Signature Series Westin bars for the 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic. You will need to measure for the overall width and length and the center to center distance between the mounting holes on the bars.

If you have the E-Series bars the correct pad is # 23-0001. These pads are 21 inches long, 3 inches wide and have 5 pins with the following distance measurements: 3-5/8 inches from 1st to 2nd, 5-5/8 inches from 2nd to 3rd, 6-3/8 inches from 3rd to 4th, and 3-5/8 inches from 4th to 5th. You would also need new barrel clips, # 23-0002, sold in quantities of 1.

For Platinum bars you could use # 21-0001. It is 24 inches long and 4 inches wide. It is longer and wider than the other pads so it is easy to identify. You would need barrel clip # 23-0002 for this pad, sold in quantities of 1.
