How do I remove the old step pad without damaging the appearance of the oval nerf bar?

When you need to remove the step pad like part # 21-0001 from an oval Nerf bar, there really is no way to gently take them off.
I have attached a video that shows how the old pad is removed and also shows how the new pad is to be installed. As the video shows, you would need to use a small pry bar or possibly a flat head screwdriver to pry the pad off the Nerf bar. The use some channel locks and pull the barrel clip out of the mounting holes.
To install the new pads you will want to first clean the Nerf bar to get any dirt or grime off. Then slip the replacement barrel clips, part # 23-0002(sold separately) onto the posts located on the back of the replacement pads.
