Question:
what is the recommended transmission cooler for an chevy uplander 2008 LS?

Expert Reply:
Transmission coolers are not vehicle specific so you can use any one that will fit in the space you have available in the engine compartment. There are 3 locations you could mount the cooler: in front the A/C condenser, behind the condenser and in front of the radiator, or behind the radiator which is not very efficient.
Check these areas for how much space you have to make sure a cooler fits. The most popular cooler is # D13503. It measures 11 inches across, 8-3/4 inches tall, and 7/8 inches deep. I have included a link to a video that shows a typical installation and some links to our FAQs on transmission coolers.
