For your 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I would recommend the Curt Class III Receiver, part # C13182. The hitch uses tubular steel for the crossbar, and in the opinion of many people, is more attractive than the square tube steel.
The # 13251 would bolt into a reinforced tubular steel cross member welded to the frame of certain Jeep and Dodge Ram vehicles. The reinforced cross member was essentially a pre-installed hitch without the receiver. Beginning with the 2011 model year, Jeep discontinued this cross member. The # 13521 would fit 2005-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee models, but not the 2011 and newer models.
If you were planning on towing with your Grand Cherokee, you might also need the following to complete your towing system:
Trailer wiring harness for GC equipped with tow package, part # 118384
Trailer wiring harness for non-tow package vehicles, part # 118425
Ball mount, part # D-4
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260
2 inch trailer ball, part # 19247
Pin and clip, part # PC3
Locking hitch pin # e98882
