When it comes to options available to replace your Atwood 85778 Surge Actuator, I recommend using the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout - Disc - Multi-Fit Ball - Bolt On - 6,000 lbs # T4745720, which has all the same features as the Demco # DM62VR but at a little better price point. This actuator is designed for working with disc brakes and will work with trailers up to 7000-lbs.
The only other option available for disc brakes is the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator - Disc - Multi-Fit Ball - Bolt On - 6,000 lbs # T4747900 which does not come with an electric lock out feature.
