Wiring from trailer cord is 5 how to connect to 7pin wire

If the trailer uses a 5 pole trailer connector, you'll need a 5 pole to 7-way adapter like # A75TB. I'm assuming that the trailer is a boat trailer that's equipped with a hydraulic or surge coupler with an electric lockout solenoid to release the brakes when the trailer's being backed up. If this is the case, you'll want to make sure that the center pin of the 7-way connector on the tow vehicle is connected to the reverse lamp circuit so it activates when the tow vehicle is shifted into reverse.
