Thickness of Camco RV Adjustable Screen Door

Question:
Can you tell me how thick the Camco 43980 Screen Door Grille is? Due to modifications to my RV I need to install it between the screen door and the door rather than on the inside of the screen. Thanks

The Camco screen, part # CAM43980, is 7/16 of an inch at the brackets and 1/8 of an inch at the screen.
