There should be a tab on the connector for your OEM mirror so that you can remove it to install a replacement like the K-Source # KS61214F on your 2001 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty. You won't need to remove any wiring from your OEM mirror, just simply detach the clip and you're ready for your new mirror!
