Question:
How do I know if my Elantra may not align with the pre-drilled holes in the hitch. I have a 2011 is there a way to see which plants have the correctly drilled holes?

You can contact the dealer and have them look up the VIN and they should be able to tell you. There is also a sticker on the driver side door jamb that should show where the vehicle was made.
The issue is that on Korean built models there is a hole that is not present on the frame that would have to be drilled using the hitch as a template. All the other attachment points are correct. This is an issue on the sedan models but we have not heard about issues on the hatchbacks.
