The part # P25206VP is designed to thread directly onto the Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump part # LC689054 with the Straight Barbed Fitting for HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump part # P25205VP threaded onto the other side.
If you want to use the Inline Filter for Hydromax RV Fresh Water Pump in another application you'd simply need to use some sort of adapter like a union which will go from MPT to FPT, just be sure to use ABS plastic but you could get these adapters at most local home improvement stores.
