Expert Reply:
The B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25198 fits a variety of pickups but you'll need a different hitch for your 2000 Dodge Van 3500.
From the linked selection I recommend going with the Curt # 13590 if you have the factory step bumper or the Curt # 13015 if you have the standard bumper.
If you plan on using this for towing then I recommend using the Tekonsha Wiring # 118368 and checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900 because it includes two ball mounts, one with a 3/4” rise/2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise/4” drop, a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You will want to refer to the attached ball mount article to ensure that this kit is correct for your towing application.
