Question:

Good day Im looking at the Curt Triflex brake controller. Can you tell me if this is comes with what I need to install on my 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 or do I need a different connector? Also what are your thoughts on this product vs going with a Dodge factory one other than the factory one is $299 which is why im leaning towards the Curt Triflex. thank you

The Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller part # C24VV is an excellent option for a 2018 Ram 1500. That said, you'd also need the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers part # C51458 for plug-in-play installation.

In regards to the factory brake controller, these aftermarket options are much more reliable and offer better performance. There is really no comparison and many swap out the factory brake controller for an aftermarket brake controller.
