Can other accessories like a Yakima bike mount be attached to the crossbars? Compatibility with Thule or Yakima mounts? Thanks.

While you can fit some Thule and Yakima accessories, like the Thule FastRide # TH95JV or Yakima ForkLift # Y02098, around the crossbars of the Malone MicroSport LowBed Trailer # MPG464-LB, the closest you will be able to get those crossbars is 44" which is well over the max crossbar spread length of the majority of accessories.
An alternative option that would allow you to fit practically any accessory is the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer # Y08107. This has 78" long crossbars which are the same length as the Malone trailer you mentioned, and the crossbars spread is adjustable from 4" - 48". This trailer has a weight rating of 250 lbs but that can be upgraded to 350 lbs with the Yakima HD Shocks # Y08110.
