My 1999 72” exmark 27 hp has 12.5” opening. I’m assuming the exs15 and extension will work. The deck clears the rear tires so that’ll not be an issue.

Your Exmark lawnmower will not fit the Rack'em Grass Catcher for Exmark Lawn Mower # RCMMS4-EXS15 because the design is for a 5 inch discharge opening. The # RCMMS4-EXS1 for Exmark is a fit for 4 inch discharge opening.
I don't know if there is an adapter for your deck but if you can get one of these two discharge openings then you would choose the correct option and the Extension for Rack'em Multi-Mount Grass Catcher - Aluminum and Stainless Steel # RLES25 will work with either of those options.
