Upgrading Manual Pull Out Dometic Awning to Powered Awning

Question:

I have a manual pull out Domedic Awning. Can i install a motorized conversion on it? Ours is about 20 feet long on our RV. Please help.

Expert Reply:

You definitely can! If you wanted to tie the power for the awning into the current 12V system on your RV then you'll need part # LC434723 for Black or part # LC434724 for White. These have 69" arms and are compatible with a Dometic awning.

If you'd rather have a power awning that runs off of it's own power (so you don't have to connect wires to your RV) then we also have the 18V battery powered option in Black # LC434729 and White # LC434730. These are basically identical to the set mentioned above, but they come with their own battery so they aren't reliant on the 12V power system in place on your RV.
