Does 4-Way kit # C55384 Fit 2019 1500 Classic

Question:

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 classic with no tow wiring. I purchased a curt 55384 for towing a uhaul trailer. Before I install it - did I buy the right one?

I have a Ford F150, 2015 pickup. I added a rear tailgate light strip and plugged it into the 4 place trailer connection. I would like to get a kit to T into the wire harness so I don't have to use the connection in the rear. With the connection in the rear, it activates the computer to bring up different trailer options on the dash screen. Thanks, Sean

The only way to bypass the OEM trailer wiring is to install wiring like part # 18252 which splices into your OEM tail light wiring on your F-150. I recommend using heat shrink butt connectors # DW05744-5 to accomplish this.
