Question:

I purchased a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the BX1123 already installed. I already have a Roadmaster stowmaster tow bar for towing my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would prefer not to purchase an additional towbar. Is there an adapter available to connect the stowmaster to the BX1123? Thanks

I can definitely understand not wanting to get a part if you don't need it, but I checked with Roadmaster and Blue Ox, and there is not an adapter for a Roadmaster Stowmaster tow bar to connect to your 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee's Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1123.

So you will need to get a new tow bar that is compatible with these base plates, and the most cost-effective is the Blue Ox Acclaim Tow Bar # BX4330.

This is a coupler mount though, so if you need a tow bar that fits in your motorhome's hitch, the most budget-friendly option that works with your base plates is the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar # BX7380.
