Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # CU64FR while installed on a 2014 Subaru Forester will sit around 16" off the ground when measuring to the top inside edge of the receiver tube opening. Therefore, in order to get an 18" coupler height you'll need a ball mount with 2" rise, the Curt Fusion Ball Mount for 2" Hitches part # C45155 has everything you need.
