Question:
I purchased a travel trailer with a tongue weight of 765 lbs and a dry weight of 7008 lbs. The max trailer weight is 8600 lbs. I cant seem to find a WD hitch that matches the tongue weight and the gross trailer weight. What do you recommend? Thanks!

For a travel trailer with an 8,600 lb GVWR, your loaded total tongue weight will be somewhere in the 1,000 lb range, and that's the number we'll use to get the right weight distribution system. The ideal system would be one in which your total tongue weight falls somewhere in the middle of the weight distribution system's tongue weight capacity.
The system I highly recommend for your travel trailer is the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution with 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-1200.
The Fastway system uses 2 points of sway control via friction in the spring bars to greatly minimize trailer sway. It also uses clamp-on brackets so you won't have to drill along your trailer frame, and allows you to back up with the system on.
Our customers who have used this system regard it very highly, with well over 300 reviews it has averaged nearly 5 out of 5 stars, as you can see on the product page. This system comes with everything you need for installation, except for the hitch ball. The correct one is the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems # EQ91-00-6120.
I also recommend you use thin-walled socket # EQ70-00-4800 to help install the hitch ball. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.
