Question:
Thanks Jon!! I think I want more sophisticated lighting, that will run off a battery but I’m not sure what else I would need beyond the battery, lights and wiring. Can you point me to what else I would need? Thanks!

The easiest thing to use/install is the NightMinder RV Task Light # NM-Motion-011. This is a battery powered light that uses 3 AAA batteries (not included). All you need to do is get rechargeable batteries to avoid purchasing batteries constantly. It would also be good to get at least 6 batteries so you can have some charging while the others are in use. Obviously if you want to use more than one of this light then you'll want to get the appropriate amount of batteries.
If you'd like something a little more permanent then we have a TON of lighting options and it really boils down to what kind of style you're wanting. I'm linking our selection of interior lights for you to filter through. Pretty much all of these options can be connected to a 12V power source like a car battery. If the light is the only thing running off of this type of battery (for the time being) then you should be able to go for quite a while without having to charge it. When you do need to charge it you can use a simple wall charger like part # 329-GENIUS1.
