Question:
I have 2002 Tiffin Phaeton. It has the round 4 pin trailer connector. I am upgrading to the 7 pin. Will the bluetooth controller work on this rig? When i put in the rig in your system it comes back unverified to work. Thanks

The Curt Echo wireless brake controller, part # C51180 isn't vehicle specific, so it'll work just fine with your Tiffin Phaeton motorhome. When you install the 7-way, you'll want to make sure that the pin in the 1:00 position is putting out a constant 12-volts. It should be connected to the positive battery terminal with an inline # 9510 40A circuit breaker.
The Curt Echo would use your smartphone (Apple 8.0+ or Android 4.4+) to control it. The controller has a 50 foot wireless range, so you'll want to make sure that the distance between the controller and the phone is less than 50 feet.
I've linked to a product demonstration video for the Curt Echo wireless brake controller.
