Yes, the Thule Passage 2 bike rack, # TH910XT, will fit your 2012 Nissan Rogue if it doesn't have a rear spoiler. The rack comes with everything needed for installation. I have included a link to the instructions and a link to a video review of this rack for you.

Some bikes like womens, childrens, or any alternative frame bike, may need the adapter bar, # TH982XT, in order to load them on the rack and for greater ground clearance because the adapter allows those bikes to set level on the rack. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.

If your Rogue has a rear spoiler, then your only option for a trunk mount will be the suction cup types like the # 298-BH1302 or the # 298-BK1910-BK.

You could also choose to have a hitch installed like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98846. You could then choose from many great bike racks like the Thule Camber # TH9058, for example.
