I see that Shelby Winch is not in business anymore. I have a model # 5404. I need to replace the handle. The current handle is 6inch and would like to go to a 9. If I have the room can I use a Fulton handle part F501109?

It is likely you can use a replacement handle from Fulton for Shelby model 5404, as we have been told by customers that model winch has a 3/8" x 1/2" oval shaped mounting hole, which is the same dimensions as the mounting hole on the Fulton handle. So while we can't guarantee it will work, it seems likely, I recommend taking that measurement on your handle to verify.
You mentioned you wanted a 9 inch handle, but in the interest of thoroughness, I want to mention that there are two lengths available:
