Can I Tow a Boat with the Stealth Hitch on a Tesla Model 3
Updated 04/29/2020 | Published 04/28/2020 >
Question:
My primary interest in this toe hitch is for use towing a 18ft 1951 Lyman Islander wooden inboard motorboat on a trailer using my Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor. Can you confirm that this is both possible and safe? Thank you!

From what I'm able to find, the 2018 Tesla Model 3 has a towing capacity of 2000-lbs (likely very different for dual motor versions), but I do recommend confirming that with your owner's manual. With that said, the Stealth Hitch # 391TES317T is a great solution to tow a light weight boat with your 2018 Tesla Model 3.
You'll need to know the total weight of the boat and trailer, as well as the tongue weight of the trailer to determine whether or not it is within the capacity of your Model 3. The great thing about the Stealth hitches is that they come with the wiring and a hitch ball included, so it's basically an entire towing package in one.
