Question:
I have a model SW6DE water heater from Suburban An Airxcel Brand and need to tighten the anode rod. How tight should I tighten it? Is there a torque value available?

When installing the Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod # CAM11563 you want to put Teflon tape on the threads and snug it down til it's tight. I reached out to my contact at Camco and she said that they don't have a torque spec but snugging it down would be the correct way to install it.
I looked at some other places and the general consensus seems to be 7-8 ft-lbs if you want to be super technical, but overall snugging it down by hand is totally okay.
