Recommended Battery Box Easily Removed for Multiple Trailer Use

Question:

I am looking to mount a clamp on / bolt on battery box on one of the rails on the front of my trailers. I would like it removable. I like the design of TLA7727 and I see they are made to fit a few different frames. Is there one that will attach to a 2 X 4 Steel Rectangle Tube or one that will clamp to a 1.75 X 5 C channel? If there is one that will work for 2 by 5 it could work for either trailer. Thanks

I recommend using the TorkLift HiddenPower Under-Vehicle Battery Mount with Battery Box # TLA7742 because it comes with the separate plates that sandwich together to fit your frame perfectly. You can simply drill a separate hole to move the bottom bolt for a custom fit if desired. Although this isn't designed for trailer use, I believe it will work very well for your application.

You likely will need to use shorter bolts for the 3 frame bolts so just make sure they are Grade 5 bolts to make sure they will hold up.
