Question:
I have a 02 F-350 with a factory rear hitch that is 2 1/2 but has the 2 adapter in it. I need to buy a hitch for it to pull a couple different heavy trailers. One a toy hauler and one a car hauler. Should I get a 2 1/2 shank hitch or a 2 shank hitch?? Which one would be the strongest with the highest rating? Thanks

The highest capacity hitches we offer for your 2002 Ford F-350 are 2-1/2 inch hitch sizes like the Curt # C15810 that has a 20,000 lb towing capacity. If you are looking for the strongest setup this would be the way to go for your truck.
For an adjustable ball mount the highest capacity options fit the 2.5 inch size too like the part # 325-GH-1624 which has a 32k capacity.
