Question:
I have the oppertunity to puchase a Roadmaster Stowmaster 5000 tow bar. I need info on what base plate I need for a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

You can use the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, 1411-2. These brackets both offer good towing for your Jeep. The XL kit offers removal of the visible brackets when not towing.
