Question:
Ii just received the custom mirror extensions CTM2200A for my 2000 Ford Ranger, but they do not extend far enough for me to see down the side of my travel trailer, which is 96inch wide. This makes backing very difficult. Are there mirrors available that 1 will fit my vehicle, and 2 let me see down the side of my trailer?

I believe that we do have a set of mirrors that will work for your situation. Since the custom towing mirrors are not wide enough for your situation, I recommend going with the CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror, # 11650.
I have had the opportunity to use these mirrors on my 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup when towing a large trailer and they work great and have the most stable mirror view on the highway of any of our universal style towing mirrors.
These mirrors attach easily, see video, and extend out 17 inches which should be quite a bit more that the 5 inches or so that the custom mirrors, # CTM2200A, extend out past the mirror on your Ranger. You will also be able to position the mirror along the window channel in your door for the best possible view.
