Question:
I have a 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium with a 2.0L engine. I want to tow a 1300-1500 pound boat with it. Will this work? C12091

The trailer hitch that I recommend for a 2014 Ford Fusion (All Models) is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12091 which is the highest rated option available at 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight which is what makes it an excellent option. The Curt hitch is a direct bolt-on fit with no cutting or drilling required and it has a hidden design which limits what parts of the hitch you can see behind the vehicle.
In order to complete your towing setup you'll need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118574 to control the lights then the Curt Class II Drawbar part # C45016, the Curt Class I and II Pin and Clip part # F-4, and the 2" Hitch Ball part # A-82.
Please note, I do recommend you verify your towing capacity in the owner's manual.
