Question:

I have a truck tailgate rear LED light 4-Pole flat that also has a built-in extra wire for back up lights and have questions regarding your trailer wiring harness that I plan to use C56153 to assist in the install. First, with your wiring harness, does the power wire go directly to the battery and the positive side? Secondly, and most important, with my LED light having the separate wire for the reverse lights, and if I purchase from you say a 4 to 5 pole adapter also with the extra wire for the reverse lights, how will I marry the two systems together to get the reverse lights to work? I understand I could hardwire the LED light bars extra wire directly to the hot wire for the reverse lights, but is there a way to run the reverse light through your system for extra protection? If so, how would I do that. Thanks,

The Curt # C56153 T-Connector does include a power wire and fuse that would need to be run under the vehicle to the engine compartment so it can connect to the positive battery terminal.

Unfortunately, there isn't a provision for running the reverse lamp circuit through the converter. That connection would need to be made separately by tapping into the reverse lamp circuit.
