In regards to a 2017 Ford Fusion, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12164 is a fit for sport models and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12091 is a fit for non-sport models. They are both great bolt-on options that will work well for you. The frame brackets on the hitch are different since the frame configuration on the vehicle is different for the two models.

If you will be towing then you'll also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118574 which is a plug and play fit. The Curt Class II Drawbar part # C45016, the Curt Class I and II Pin and Clip part # F-4, and the 1-7/8" Hitch Ball part # A-80 or 2" Hitch Ball part # A-82 will also be needed to complete your setup.
