Question:

I have a 20 lb propane tank mounted in my camper. If the tank empties can I use this hose to connect to the camper hose and run to a portable 20 lb bottle?

You can definitely use the Extension # 100914-180-MBS to do exactly what you're talking about.

Another option you may be interested in is the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w Hose # 103615 instead. This comes with a tee and a 6' extension hose with a quick disconnect fitting. What this means is that you install the tee in-line with your current propane setup. When you need to use gas from your portable 20 lb bottle simply use the included extension hose with the quick disconnect fitting, turn the valve switch to on, and you're up and running again. No need to disconnect anything from your original setup, and the quick disconnect fitting is just that, quick and easy to use! For a longer hose we have the 10' # 100794-120-MBS that has the same fittings as what comes with this kit.
