Hello - I see in your QandA that you recommend that a Curt C58155 as a replacement for the twist plug PK11916. Can you confirm that the C58155 is a direct replacement - plug and play. Thanks

Both the Curt 7-way part # C58155 and the Pollak # PK11916 use the same round 7-way wiring connector and would fit your 2005 Chevy Silverado. The advantage to the Pollak for your truck is the twist lock style of fit that allows it to fit right into the bumper mounting location on your truck for a cleaner install. The Curt would fit but would require drilling the bracket # C67UR to the bottom of your lower bumper.
From a wiring and connector standpoint the two are identical.
