Can Hose be Removed for Installation of Camco RV Drain Hose w/ Drain Trap and Evacuation Flange

Updated 05/26/2025 | Published 03/25/2020

Question:

Jon, thank you for the answer. One other quick question. It appears that they are just push on connections. Are they very secure?, or would it be a good idea to add a hose clamp too? Thanks,

Yes, the hose on the Camco RV Drain Hose w/ Drain Trap and Evacuation Flange # CAM37420 can actually be disconnected at either end. I have attached a photo to demonstrate this.

While they are just pushed on to the connections, the hose was actually pretty difficult to remove. You can add hose clamps for extra security if you want to but I doubt you'll need them.

Hey Jon! Can I longer hose be purchased? I have a pop up camper and the sink gets folded down. The place I bought the camper from I believe it was done wrong I believe that this product is the best thing to use

@NickG I checked, but this is the only one that Camco offers. You might be able to find a longer hose elsewhere to connect the ends to, but you unfortunately won't be able to find them all in the same kit.
