Question:

2015 Honda CRV I am getting ready to purchase a Thule Hullivator and trying to figure out exactly what I need. Your website has provided a great deal of info but specifically looking for a few more answers. I have flush rails and need to find out the type and length of crossbars I need. Do they need to be flat or can they be rounded? Also, would like to know all hardware and additional parts needed for installation please. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide!

In order to use the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier part # TH898 on a 2015 Honda CR-V I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar System part # TH711420, part # TH460R, and part # THKIT3118. The Thule WingBar System is a top of the line option with some of the quietest crossbars on the market. The system installs into fixed factory mounting points so it will have a very clean install look. The crossbars are 53" long so you will have plenty of overhang for the Thule Hullavator.

If you want to use a different roof rack, it will need to have round, square, aero, or elliptical shaped crossbars with at least 4" of overhang on each side.
