Question:
Dear E-Trailer Help Experts, Im interested in your hub: Trailer Hub Assembly - 8 on 8inch - 6,000 lb Item # AH60880FCOMP 8 on 8 hub What is the center dimensions of a wheels hub opening in inches for this part? Is it about about 5 to 6 inches in diameter? Im helping a friend who has an agricultural trailer with a single axle. She cant get the wheel bolts loosened to remove the wheel so as to get an accurate measurement of the rims center hub hole. The trailer has a large capacity tub to fill with agricultural produce to transport from the field into a truck and trailer larger holding bin. She needs to keep her present hub, but would like to replace the wheel and tire to be able to carry about a total of 10,000 lbs in the field at slow towing speed behind a tractor less than 15 mph tops and mostly 3 mph. But she needs a highway type tire to tow the trailer at 50 mph when transporting to other fields as much as 60 miles away. Is there a wheel and tire combination that you sell like your Provider 235/75R17.5 Radial Tire w/ 17-1/2inch Solid Center Wheel - Offset - 8 on 6-1/2 - LR J Item # A235J-8H19. This particular wheel plus tire wont fit as the hub size is 8 on 8. The tire weight capacity is great for this application. Or is there a big rig type truck tire with a specialized wheel that fits an 8 on 8 pattern and is offset only slightly until most dual tire rims. So questions are: 1 what is the wheel rim center hole dimensions for your tem # AH60880FCOMP. 2 is there an 8 on 8 wheel with high weight capacity of tire similar to item # A235J-8H19 or 3 do you have access to a big-rig steel rim with an 8 on 8 bolt pattern with very little offset. Thanks so much for your help.

The Trailer Hub Assembly # AH60880FCOMP has an inner bore diameter of 3.125 inches. However, to answer your question about the wheels and tires, there are no wheels we carry (or have access to) which have an 8 on 8 bolt pattern as we mostly deal in products for recreational vehicles. I also want to mention that for agricultural hubs like these, they are generally for lower speed applications and the manufacturer does say they are not to exceed 20 mph.
I have added a link to a video review of this hub for you to check out as well.
