Motorcycle Carrier for 2017 Kawasaki KLR 650 At Back of 2017 Thor Motor Coach Gemini 23TR

Question:
I have a 2017 Kawasaki KLR 650, that is around 395lbs. to 400lbs with no fuel in it. I am wanting to haul it on a 3,000+ mile round trip on the back of a 2017 Thor Motor Coach Gemini 23tr. I was told by the manufacture that the TW of the hitch is 500lbs. Will the Ultra-Fab 48-979033 Ultra MX Hauler Motorcycle Carrier haul this bike on the back of this RV safely for such a trip?

Expert Reply:
The setup you are considering with the Ultra-Fab Motorcycle Carrier part # UF48-979033 would work great as it is RV approved, has more capacity than you'd need for the motorcycle, and also your hitch has more than enough capacity as well for the carrier and bike. The carrier weighs right at 50 lbs so you'd have 50 lbs of extra tongue weight capacity so you'd have a solid buffer in that regard as well.
