Question:

Will this product raise the height of my truck? I have about 1 1/2inch clearance for my garage door and want to be sure it will still fit in the door.

The internal jounce bumpers in the LoadLifter Ultimate air bag system # AL88399 could possibly raise the vehicle ride height a tiny bit, even when aired down, but the LoadLifter 5000 without the jounce bumper, part # AL57399 will NOT raise the vehicle ride height when aired down to the 5psi minimum, as confirmed by Air Lift.

In this instance where you'd want to air down before pulling into the garage, an onboard compressor system like # AL25856 would be pretty convenient. You can add or remove air from the system on the fly from the comfort of your truck cab without having to dig out the compressor at home or finding a gas station with a working compressor.
