Question:
I see where it says you have to temporarily remove the bumper fascia to install the Curt hitch on my 2020 cadillac xt4. is there any cutting or trimming of this fascia to install?

There is no type of fascia cutting or trimming necessary whatsoever to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C39FR on your 2020 Cadillac XT4. The fascia has a removable panel which will allow you to access the trailer hitch when you need to and put the panel back on when you aren't using the hitch. The fact you can remove that panel and easily access the hitch is why you don't need to trim or cut any fascia.
I have added a link to the instructions for you to check out as well of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C39FR.
If you need a wiring harness to power your trailer's lights, the correct fit for your 2020 Cadillac XT4 is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118795.
