Question:

I need to install a hitch on my 2020 RAV4 so I can carry a bike rack. What do you recommend to do this that wouldn't be an eyesore? I know a RAV4 isn't a sporty vehicle but I want to retain an OEM look as possible.

I'd be happy to help you choose a trailer hitch so you can transport your bikes with your 2020 Toyota RAV4!

I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13416 because it has a 2" receiver (for compatibility with the majority of accessories), and we have found the welds and powder coats on the Curt options to be of higher quality than most others on the market. This hitch also has a hidden crosstube so only the receiver is visible. I have attached an installation video and some photos of this on a 2019 RAV4 that you can reference.

If you don't already have a bike rack I highly recommend the Thule T2 Pro XTR 2 Bike Platform Rack # TH83JV because it is compatible with just about any type of bike on the market (60 lb bikes, 50-1/2" max wheelbase, 20"-29" wheels, and 5" wide tires), it looks great, and it has easy-to-use features (tilting/folding orientations, locks, and built-in anti-rattle).
