The trigger circuit for all of the cameras is typically the running light circuit of your trailer wiring on the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras # FCE48TASL-05. So when you back up if you turn on the running lights, you'll have ability to select any of the rear views. You can setup the trigger circuit for the center/rear camera as the reverse light circuit if you wanted to though and it would be what shows when the vehicle is in reverse.

The motion detection features also allow you to have the side cameras shown when motion is detected like you mentioned.

The side cameras of the kit aren't LED (they could be replaced with LED bulbs if desired) but the assemblies only draw .5 of an amp so they draw lower similar to LEDs. What this means is that your current wiring would work great with these still. The bulb type of this is a 194 so for an LED you'd just want the # P340194A-360.
