Can Curt Wiring Harness Be Used on a 2012 Honda Ridgeline RT to Tow a Small Trailer

Question:
i just bought a 2012 ridgeline RT and want to pull a small utility trailer to haul dirt,pine straw,etc.the trailer has a 4 pin connector so all i want to do is buy a connector that is less trouble to install than the 7 pin connector,which requires removing lower dash and installing relays,etc.can i buy this kit and hook it to the tail lights without any problem with circuit overload,etc.?thanks in advance,

As long as the small utility trailer you plan on towing is wired correctly and does not have any shorts on the tail light circuitry you would have no problem installing Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring part # C55585 on your 2012 Honda Ridgeline RT.
