I have a solution for you, but the Roadmaster BrakeMaster System # RM-9160 is not compatible with the power braking system on your 2001 Ford F-250 7.3L Diesel. Instead, I recommend using the Demco SBS Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243, which is one of our most popular and highest rated fixed supplemental braking systems because of the reliability and one time setup. This system offers proportional braking at the same rate as the brakes are being applied in the coach, which will help reduce the wear and tear on your toad's brakes. Since the vacuum-assisted function of towed car is activated with air from the coach brakes, less force is needed to move the brake pedal in the toad which results in more natural braking and less risk of damage.

Since you will also need a tow bar, compatible base plates, wiring, safety cables and potentially a high/low adapter, I've gone ahead and provided you a list of the parts I recommend for you below to help finish out your setup. We do not currently have a drive shaft disconnect available that you can use so you would need to source that from somewhere that specializes in that particular product.

Base Plates: Demco Classic # DM9517109

Safety Cables: comes integrated on the Demco Dominator tow bar

Wiring: Roadmaster 7 wire to 6 Wire Diode Kit # RM-15267

High/Low Adapter: Similar to # but measurements will need to be taken on vehicles to determine the correct fit- please see the attached article on measuring for a high/low adapter.
