Question:

I recently purchased a hitch and bike rack from etrailer.com for my 2005 Scion XB. Ive noticed that, when mounted, my bike obstructs one of the tail lights/turn signals due to the length of my bike and the bikes panniers. For safetys sake and also to avoid getting pulled over by the cops, I am thinking I should purchase part #118414 along with a tow light kit to attach to the bike or bike carrier. The tow light kit I was thinking of getting is the EZ-Mount Tow Light Kit, Code: EZT20B. Would this be a viable option, and is product EZT20B compatible with product C56030 ? If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

If the bike completely obscures one of the tail lights so that it is not visible at all through the bike, then using the Roadmaster # RM-2120 would be a great solution.

As you said, you would also need the Curt Harness, # C56030 to provide a connection for the EZ mount lights to plug into. Installing the harness is a straightforward procedure, as you can see by looking over the installation instructions that I have linked to.
