Question:
Does this mean that the product will not work on my truck 2019 lariat that has the Smart tow feature or the smart tow features will not work while using this product. Thanks in advance

Curt has actually updated the Curt Echo # C51180 so that it is now compatible with the Smart Trailer Tow feature like what you have on your 2019 Ford F-150 Lariat.
The Echo used to not interact well with the Smart Trailer Tow feature (they essentially couldn't read each other well) so Curt started adding resistors inside the Echo and my contact at Curt said that the brake controller is compatible with that feature now.
I have attached an installation/review video on a 2019 F-150 that you can check out.
