I have a 97 Toyo T100. Trying to install a 7 way connection for my trailer. I have a reverse wire on the adapter that needs a connection but my 4way will not be adequate. Can i use the Curt 5way and use the 5th for the reverse wire connection?

Yes you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 5-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56513 to use as the basis for your 7 pole connector. Once this is installed I recommend cutting the connector off and using heat shrink butt connectors like part # DW05744-10 to connect to the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires part # ETBC7. This simply eliminates a connection that could eventually fail. At that point just run the wires up to the front for your brake controller signal and 12V power per the instructions and you will be ready to use your 7 way.
