Question:

I currently have a 2003 F-350 dually with the BWGNRK1108 and a companion fifth wheel hitch. I would like to install the AirLift 5000 ultimate kit # 88298. It looks like the mounting brackets will conflict with the hitch brackets as this air bag system installs on top of the leaf springs. Will this install work with this hitch installed?

Although we do have an air suspension solution that's compatible with your 2003 Ford F350, Air Lift can't guarantee the fit of their # AL57390 with your B&W Gooseneck.

However, Firestone offers the # F2550 which is a confirmed fit. The air bag mounts use an existing hole in the hitch mounting bracket that allows it to attach. According to Firestone, occasionally the hole in the hitch bracket and the air bag mount won't match up, but in that instance extra hardware is included to ensure everything fits.

You might also consider an on-board compressor kit like part # F2097. A compressor system will allow you to add or subtract air pressure from the system from the comfort and safety of the truck cab while you're on the fly allowing you to fine tune the suspension to the weight of the load you're carrying.
