Yes, the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite part # RED44FR that you referenced will work great in your 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD. You'd just need the install harness # RED49FR and you'd be set. You'd end up cutting off the black connector and wiring the harness by color to the Tow Pro and you'd be set.
The Tow Pro Elite is a really great brake controller solution overall as well. It installs mostly out of plainsight with a small knob you'd mount near the dash and is proportional as well which means it senses how hard you are applying the vehicle brakes and applies a proportional amount of trailer braking as well.
