Recommended Hitch and Bike Rack to Clear Spare Tire Clearance on 2011 Toyota Rav4

will this bike rack clear spare tire on 2011 toyota rav,using 2 inch hidden hitch? I intend to buy both from etrailer. any additional advice would be welcome.

To determine the fit of a particular bike rack, you will need to determine how much clearance will be necessary, and then choose the rack that has a shank long enough to provide that clearance.
When we installed the Curt Class III Hitch, # C13149 on a 2011 Rav4, we found that the distance from the hitch pin hole to the furthest rearward portion of the spare tire was 6 inches.
The Kuat Beta # B202-2 has a hitch pin hole to rack upright measurement of 7-1/2 inches, so it will work great with the hitch on your RAV4 and will clear the spare tire with no problems. To secure the rack to the hitch, there's an available locking hitch pin, part # HL2.
